The Devil tarot card asks, “Which head of the monster do you feed the most?” The Devil tarot card represents the denied and repressed aspects of yourself you dislike the most. The purpose of the Devil tarot card is to command by fear and to offer illusory incentives to prevent you from staying on the true path. The true path is to become close to God. How does one combat the Devil? By bringing the “light of awareness” to the hidden, hated parts of yourself. This internal struggle is all about bringing light to darkness and rendering it impotent.
